To generate national brand awareness of our client Beyond Paint’s all-in-one paint and its range of applications, and to drive product sales and increase traffic to BeyondPaint.com, our team coordinated a high-impact co-op satellite media tour (SMT) with lifestyle and home improvement expert Kathryn Emery.
During the Home Trends SMT, TV stations across the country highlighted Beyond Paint applications, cost-saving benefits and DIY-able project ideas to reach a national consumer audience interested in trending products and home improvement tips. The SMT reached viewers located in seven of the top 20 U.S. markets, including Philadelphia, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Washington D.C., Cleveland and Sacramento.
The SMT included 19 total segments recorded resulting in 31 individual broadcast airings and a grand total of nearly 200M impressions when combined with additional promotion online. Publicity on Kathryn’s website and social media channels drove additional brand awareness for Beyond Paint to their target audiences. Social media post engagement resulted in over 1,250 likes, including from The Home Depot!
To coincide with the SMT, Beyond Paint also offered a 15% discount on products. The discount code, which was shared on a dedicated landing page on BeyondPaint.com and mentioned on-air during the segments, was used more than 90 times by customers who viewed the segments.
